Caring For Your Hair
Thursday, May 14, 2009 at 4:22PM WASHING HAIR:
While washing your hair, avoid using very hot water. Hot water causes the pores on the scalp to open up. Avoid combing your hair while it's still wet because it is very fragile in that state. If you must comb while it's wet, then use a wide-toothed comb.
LONG HAIR:
To untangle and comb long hair, start combing down gently at the portion closest to the tips. Gradually move the start point closer to the scalp as you continue. Hair conditioners should be applied in the same manner- from the ends of the hair to the scalp.
When you decide to grow your hair longer, trimming only the ends every 4 weeks will promote healthier hair. It will also give you a more finished look until you achieve your desired length.

The new "wet brush" works amazing to detangle hair, even my daughters love it
